Stuck in Traffik

So I have this idea for a story, and the research is getting interesting. It turns out that the reference work I wanted only exists because it was compatible with the beliefs of early Ethiopian Christians in the fifth century, and so got adopted into their canon. Also, bits of it were found in Greece over the years, filling out and expanding the other translations. As far as the main body of Christianity is concerned, it's total apocrypha, but it makes for an interesting read nonetheless.
